Dorsal Constructions is a Family company, owned and run by Lawrence and Mark Doria.
Lawrence did his apprenticeship and worked as a Carpenter for several years before completing further studies and obtaining his builders license in 1990. He worked for a large building company before leaving to establish Dorsal Constructions with his brother, Mark in 1996. Lawrence is a Perfectionist and pays particular attention to detail. He is not shy to ask our tradespeople to redo anything that isn’t up to our high standard, something our tradespeople know well. Lawrence also looks after contract management and administration.
Mark commenced his career as a building inspector, working in local government for several years before also completing further tertiary studies and then working as a Project Manager for Sydney Airport for Seven years, working on various complex commercial projects, including the pre-Olympics expansion. Mark is our on site foreman and runs the day to day management of our construction sites. He takes great pride in his work and places particular importance on managing all aspects of the project from looking after the neighbours, to liaising with all relevant authorities. Mark sleeps next to his phone and is available to our customers 24/7.
Dean is our on site Forman. Dean is a has extensive experience, in all facets of domestic construction. Dean is a qualified Drafstman, and has also worked for many years as a highly skilled Carpenter.
Trades and Suppliers
Over the years we have established close working relationships with a large number of tradespeople who we use exclusively on our projects. All of our work is industry best practice, and we do not take shortcuts, ever. We will always suggest the most cost effective methods, but will never compromise our high standards. We work closely with our customers and are always available and approachable.
